• combine them into the Kenpo techniques and katas
• advance up the belt ranks
   – children advance through the Basic Belt System
      (10 techniques and 1 kata per belt)
   – adults advance through the Advanced Belt System
      (generally 20 techniques and 2 katas per belt)
• optional weekly sparring class included
• build self-discipline, self-respect and self-confidence
